WHILE YOU’RE HERE
OLD TOWN DUBAI
Visit Old Town Dubai (Deira) and discover another side of the city. The Spice & Gold Souks are not to be missed when visiting Dubai and are still one of our favourite things to do and show visitors.
Insider tip: take one of the wooden boats across the Creek, go to either Arabian Tea House for some local food or get coffee and the saffron & pistachio best ice cream at Mazmi and finish with the most beautiful Iranian shop 'Chuk Palu Rugs'.
BEACH CLUBS & LUNCHES
On days where you feel like not doing too much (perhaps the day after...) a. beach club is always a good idea! Whether you would like to just have a nice lunch or lay by the beach all day, Dubai offers a wide variety of Beach Clubs from all over the world.
Our favourites: Bungalo 34, Gigi Rigolatto, Casa Amor, Nobu by the Beach, Summersalt, La Cantine Beach, Maison Revka
LOUVRE & MOSQUE ABU DHABI
For those who are staying a bit longer, the Louvre & Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi should definitely be on your itinerary. We would suggest taking a half day trip to Abu Dhabi and having lunch near the Louvre at the Aptitude Cafe.
DINNER SPOTS
As we know many of you can appreciate good food as much as we do, we would like you to discover some of our favourite restaurants in Dubai.
Some of our go-to more casual dinners are at: Kokoro Hand Roll Bar. 3 Fils, Lowe, NAC, Orfali Bros or Flamingo Room.
If you would like some more upscale places we suggest going to: Il Borro, Beefbar, Mayabay, The Cullinan, Sushisamba, Mimi Kakushi or Avli.
CYCLING
One of our favourite things to do in the weekends is going for a cycle. Depending on our mood, we like to alternate between cycle rides on the Al Qudra Desert Cycling Track, which is more for those who are up for a workout. Those who would like a more leisurely cycle can either rent an electric bike or walk along Kite Beach.
BALLOON RIDE ABOVE THE DESERT
One of the things we would highly recommend is booking a sunrise balloon ride and seeing the Dubai Desert from above.
Insider tip: don't book this the day before or after the wedding as it is an early wake-up!
JEBEL JAIS ZIPLINE
RAS-AL-KAIMAH
For those seeking adventure, the Ras-Al-Kaimah zipline is not to be missed! With its 2.8km length, it is the longest zipline in the world and surrounded by the beautiful Ras Al Kaimah mountains.
